Val’s walk this month will follow a slightly different route because the Downslink from Henfield to Stretham is scheduled to be closed for resurfacing works during September. The meeting point and start time will remain unchanged but Val will take the alternative route through Rye Farm to the river, returning via Stonepit Lane.

It could still take over 4 hours but there are lots of places where there are opportunities to turn back if it’s getting too much for you or you have another commitment.

Meet at 8.30am the Downslink (Hollands Lane end) by Braziers Garage.
