Met Lesley for a brisk dog walk up to and beyond Betley Bridge this morning. With Lesley’s talent of spotting little things in the distance, she found 4 Little Ringed Plovers, while with my ability to only find great hulking things I noticed the White-tailed Eagle behind them! Long-distance shot of Eagle – on full screen I can just about make out a fuzzy plover (at 7 o’clock from the eagle) and Pied Wag. Still about 30 Wigeon, but White-fronted Geese seem to have departed.
